声带巨大息肉致急性喉梗阻1例

Giant Polyp of the Vocal Cord Causing Acute Laryngeal Obstruction: A Case Report

声带息肉通常是喉部的常见病变,常引起声音嘶哑,发音困难等症状,极少影响气道通气,但巨大带蒂息肉相对罕见,容易引起气道阻塞,甚至可有生命危险,应早期手术干预,必要时立即行气管切开术。本文结合相关文献及病历分析,对1例声带巨大息肉引发的急性喉梗阻紧急处理以及气切术后并发症的相关鉴别与处理,为以后的临床诊疗工作中处理急症病例提供参考,强调临床医生面对此类病症应全面评估并引起重视。

Abstract:

Vocal fold polyps are common lesions of the larynx, often presenting with symptoms such as hoarseness and dysphonia, and rarely affect airway ventilation. However, giant polyps are relatively rare and can easily cause airway obstruction, which may be life-threatening. Early surgical intervention is recommended, and immediate tracheotomy should be performed when necessary. In this article, we analyze the case in conjunction with the relevant literature and medical records. This study presents the emergency management of acute laryngeal obstruction caused by a giant polyp of the vocal cord in one case, along with the identification and management of related complications following tracheotomy, aiming to provide a reference for handling acute cases in future clinical practice and to emphasize that clinicians should conduct comprehensive assessments and attach great importance to such conditions.
