Abstract:alcifying fibrous tumor (CFT) is a rare benign fibrous mesenchymal neoplasm that predominantly occurs in children and adolescents. However, CFT arising in the cervical region (near the retroauricular area) of children is extremely uncommon. Herein, we report the clinical features of one pediatric case of cervical CFT. Combined with literature review, we summarize its key diagnostic criteria to deepen the understanding of this disease. This study aims to improve clinicians’ recognition of lesions in this rare anatomical site, enhance diagnostic accuracy, provide evidence for formulating appropriate diagnosis and treatment strategies, and thus avoid misdiagnosis and mistreatment.
