Abstract:Functional rhinoplasty requires both functional repair and aesthetic refinement. However, its clinical outcomes are often constrained by multiple factors such as the subjectivity of aesthetic perception, the complexity of anatomical structures, and the uncertainty of postoperative healing, leading to difficulties in precisely controlling treatment results and effectively ensuring patient satisfaction. In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has developed rapidly and has gradually permeated all aspects of medical practice. This article systematically summarizes the current application status of AI in rhinoplasty, covering preoperative consultation, surgical planning, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative outcome evaluation, comprehensively demonstrating its evolution from a conceptual auxiliary tool to an integrated clinical tool. AI is no longer a futuristic concept in functional rhinoplasty but a thriving reality, reshaping the entire diagnosis and treatment workflow for patients undergoing rhinoplasty. Looking ahead, the professional experience of surgeons and AI technology will work in concert to jointly promote the overall improvement of functional rhinoplasty.
