Clinical nonspecific cold and heat stimulation induces upper airway hyper-responsiveness in patients without allergens, aggravates relevant symptoms in patients with AR.Relying on existing immune drugs to treat the related symptoms of the patients is not effective. The above problems persist in clinic, but there is no effective solution. The discovery of transient receptor potential (TRP) provides a new insight into upper airway hyper-responsiveness (AHR) disease. Neuroimmune pathway is an important component of the pathogenesis of AHR. The expression and stimulation of TRP are closely related to TRP. Relevant research will eventually clarify the mystery of the specific pathogenesis of the symptoms, which will become a new direction of clinical treatment and intervention in the future. This review highlights the key components of AHR neural immune pathway and the role of related TRP channels.TRPV1 of TRP subfamily and TRPA1-related blockers are gradually entering the clinic.TRPV4 and TRPM8 of the TRP subfamily are expected to become new hot spots in drug research.
