Abstract:Abstract: Objective: To provide a reference for clinicians, one adolescent (10-19 years old) patient with parotid epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma (EMC) was reported and its related literature was review. Methods: A 18-year-old male came to our hospital with a chief complaint of right parotid gland mass, who further underwent radical parotidectomy with facial nerve preservation. The diagnosis of EMC was established through histopathologic examination. Postoperative radiotherapy was suggested to the patient. Results: The follow-up was established based on telephone and Ultrasound sonography. no sign of recurrence strategy was observed six months after surgery. Conclusion: The incidence of adolescent EMC was rare. Thus, the related treatment experiences were lacking. We recommend surgical treatment, especially radical parotidectomy, as the main treatment for adolescent EMC patients. Postoperative radiotherapy is favored for some patients due to the high recurrence rate of this rare disease.
