Abstract:Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SNHL) is a common disease in otology, which mainly manifests as hearing loss with or without tinnitus, vertigo and stuffy ears, etc. The etiology of SNHL is complex and diverse, which is no clear cause at present. In recent years, with the development and use of magnetic resonance imaging technology, new ideas have been provided for the exploration of the cause of SNHL.Magnetic resonance imaging of the internal auditory tract is more advantageous in showing soft tissue and can be used to study inner ear disease in patients with SNHL, such as studying the anterior inferior cerebellar artery to further elucidate inner ear microcirculation, ginography to show membrane vagal effusion in patients with Ménière's disease, and functional magnetic resonance imaging to study activity in brain regions.
