Abstract:Teaching ward round is an important link in the standardized training of resident doctors to acquire clinical practice ability and knowledge. This study takes the teaching ward round of otorhinolaryngology sub-specialty as an example. The teaching method of "evaluation among different grades" is adopted. The resident doctors of the three grades will be the main body of the teaching ward round acting a role of both "teaching" and "learning", so as to give full play to the learning initiative and self-improvement ability. After the teaching rounds, the academic performance of the resident doctors is better than that before the ward round, and the performance of the practice examination is good. At the same time, this kind of teaching ward round has been affirmed by the resident doctors. Teaching ward round should reflect on teachers' teaching for improving the quality of clinical teaching ward round. Teaching ward round can achieve good teaching effect by teaching students according to their aptitude.
