Abstract:Abstract:The curative effect of rhinoplasty is affected by many factors. Rhinoplasty pays more attention to the improvement of nasal shape and function. The evaluation criteria include subjective and objective contents. The diseasespecific scale is an important tool, which assessed the nasal shape of pre and postoperation from a patient’s subjective perspective. It is an important tool for improving the quality of life (QoL) of patients. The evaluation of QoL includes individual’s subjective cognition, symptom, function, patient preference and value, etc., which should be based on keeping objectivity and science. This article reviews the application of diseasespecific scale in the assessment of QoL in rhinoplasty patients in recent years.
