Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention combined with drug therapy on voice recovery in patients with benign vocal cord lesions.MethodsEightytwo patients with benign lesions of vocal cords were randomly divided into groups A and B. In group A, 41 patients took Jinsangsanjie capsule orally for 1 month. In addition to oral administration of Jinsangsanjie capsule, the 41 patients in group B received comprehensive nursing intervention, including psychological intervention, emotional and behavioral intervention, alcohol prohibition, voice rest, voice training, etc. Before and after treatment, the acoustic analysis software Xion was used to test the jitter, shimmer and noise to harmonic ratio (NHR), voice handicap index30 (VHI30) scale to score the voice condition, and fibrolaryngoscopy to compare the effective rate between both groups.ResultsAfter 1 month of treatment, jitter, shimmer, NHR value and VHI30 score of the two groups were all improved compared with those before treatment. The improvements in group B were more obvious than, those in the group A (P<0.05). Fiberlaryngoscopy showed that the effective rate of group B was higher than that of group A.ConclusionComprehensive nursing intervention combined with drug therpy can significantly improve the voice quality of patients with benign vocal cord lesions.
