Abstract:ObjectiveNasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a common malignant tumor in southern China. NPC is extremely harmful to human life and health. The pathological and anatomical characteristics of NPC determine its radiotherapybased treatment. The clinical stages of NPC is closely related to the prognosis of NPC patients. Therefore, early intervention can greatly improve the longterm survival rate of the patients. It is crucial for early detection of NPC by finding an appropriate screening.Hence, this paper reviews the advances in screening of earlystage NPC.
