Abstract:Abstract:ObjectiveChronic rhinosinusitis(CRS) is a common chronic inflammatory disease of the upper respiratory tract, which has become one of the chronic diseases seriously affecting public health. According to the current domestic and international guidelines, it is difficult to cure it. The main reason is that the etiology of CRS is complex and heterogeneous, and the pathogenesis is not completely clear. The lack of mature and stable animal models in basic research is an important reason. At present, the established animal model of CRS is still controversial, and has not formed a mature and stable animal model. In this paper, the current situation of establishing animal models of CRS at home and abroad in the recent ten years is briefly reviewed, and the advantages and disadvantages of various animal models are analyzed in order to guide the selection of correct CRS models in future studies.
