Abstract:Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the diagnosis and treatment of Kimura’s disease.MethodsClinical data of 9 patients with Kimura’s disease treated in our department from 2006 to 2017 were analyzed retrospectively.ResultsOf all the 9 patients, 6 were treated with surgical excision with postoperative recurrence in 2, and 3 received glucocorticoid therapy with recurrence in one.ConclusionKimura’s disease is a rare, chronic inflammatory disease. Its diagnosis depends mainly on histopathological examination. The treatment of Kimura’s disease includes surgical excision, glucocorticoid therapy, lowdose radiotherapy and antiIgE antibody therapy.
