Abstract:This paper briefly introduced the development of transoral vestibular endoscopic thyroidectomy based on research status at home and abroad.The study on the physiology and anatomy of thyroid fully confirmed the feasibility and safety of this surgical method.The indications and contraindications of this operation were summarized with literature review,and the treatment and prevention of postoperative complications were also proposed.
