Abstract:Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of miR3243p on the migration and invasion in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) in vitro.MethodsMiR3243p mimic was used to upregulate the expression of miR3243p in NPC 58F and 610B cell lines, and then alterations of migration and invasion were examined by wound healing assays and Transwell invasion assays. Molecular markers correlated with epithelialmesenchymal transition (EMT) were finally tested.ResultsThe expression of miR3243p was successfully upregulated in both NPC 58F and 610B cells. Moreover, miR3243p overexpression led to enhanced capabilities of migration and invasion in NPC 58F and 610B cells, which was accompanied by elevated expression of Ecadherin and decreased expression of Vimentin.ConclusionMiR3243p can regulate the migration and invasion of NPC via EMT.
